Body found at Jersey Shore nude beach

by Charlie Dwyer

SANDY HOOK, NJ – On Saturday, police recovered a body in the ocean off Sandy Hook’s Gunnison beach, one of the East Coast’s largest nude beaches.

The New Jersey State Police identified the victim only as a white female, who was unidentified.

The woman’s body was located just off the clothing-optional beach at around 3 pm on Saturday. Police have not released the victim’s name.

Gunnison Beach is the only clothing-optional beach in New Jersey, and it is one of the few beaches of its kind on the East Coast. The beach has been a popular spot for nudists and naturists for decades, and it attracts thousands of visitors every year from all over the world.
