Boston Police Make Multiple Arrests Following Shot Spotter Aler

BOSTON, MA – A series of Shot Spotter activations on the night of Sunday, led Boston police to the arrest of three individuals.

Officers assigned in Roxbury and Mattapan, along with members of the Youth Violence Strike Force, were dispatched to the area of Normandy Street and Brunswick Street.

On arrival, officers observed three males fleeing the scene, prompting a foot chase that resulted in the apprehension of all three suspects.

Officers recovered three firearms from the backyard the suspects fled through. Jaheim Porter, Keondre Barrett, and Robert Barrett-Scott are all facing charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition, with their arraignments pending in Dorchester District Court.
