Three arrested on gun and drug charges

BOSTON, MA – On Tuesday, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force and the Massachusetts State Police arrested three men in Boston for gun and drug-related offenses. Frandiel Santana, 23, of Dorchester was arrested for receiving stolen property, Frammy Llaveria, 25, of East Boston was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, and Anthony Santana, 35, of Dorchester was arrested on a felony warrant out of Middlesex Superior Court.

Officers observed a motor vehicle traveling without headlights and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Harvard Street. During the stop, officers found a firearm and altered personal checks in the vehicle, leading to the arrests. The firearm was identified as a 9mm Smith & Wesson M&P Shield, loaded with seven rounds of ammunition.

The other occupants, Frandiel Santana and Anthony Santana, were also arrested for their involvement in the incident. All three men were taken into custody and are facing charges related to their involvement in the incident.
