Dover Man Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

DOVER, DE – Gregory Dove, 53, of Dover, was arrested by the Delaware State Police on drug dealing charges following a traffic stop on Wednesday.

The incident took place in the Rodney Village Shopping Center when a trooper noticed a vehicle parked in a fire lane.

Dove, the driver of the vehicle, was found to be in possession of approximately 12.02 grams of crack cocaine and 34.52 grams of marijuana.

He was taken to Troop 3 and was charged with multiple offenses including Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance in a Tier 2 Quantity, Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 2 Quantity, Possession of Marijuana Other Than Personal Use Quantity, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Parking in a Fire Lane.

Dove was later released on his own recognizance.
