NYPD releases photo of suspect wanted for gas station knifepoint robbery in Queens

NEW YORK, NY – Police in New York City investigating an armed robbery at a Queens gas station have released a new photo of the suspect involved in the incident.

An unidentified individual robbed a BP gas station located at 75-15 Northern Boulevard on Friday, May 5, at approximately 11:14 p.m.

The suspect entered the store and threatened a 24-year-old employee with a knife, demanding currency.

The employee complied, and the suspect fled the location on foot, taking approximately $1,000 in cash from the register. The suspect headed westbound on Northern Boulevard towards 74 Street and remains at large. There were no injuries reported in the incident.

The NYPD has released photos of the suspect and asks anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) for Spanish speakers.
