Cambridge Police Seize Seven Illegally Possessed Guns

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The Cambridge Police Department reported that seven illegally possessed handguns were seized within the jurisdiction of Cambridge during the week of May 10th through Sunday. The handguns were found during officers’ interactions with citizens during traffic stops, Search Warrants, and a response to a Domestic Assault incident.

The investigations related to these seizures are ongoing, and further arrests and charges may be pending. The seizures were part of a collaborative enforcement effort involving the Cambridge Police Department and multiple allied agencies.
