Police identify bodies found in Brooklyn apartment

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York Police Department’s 62nd Precinct responded to a distress call about unconscious individuals at an apartment on Quentin Road, Brooklyn, on Monday, at approximately 6:50 pm. The Fire Department of New York also attended the scene and assisted with access to the apartment.

Inside the third-floor apartment, officers discovered two individuals, later identified as Vladislav Vinnitskiy, a 38-year-old male, and Zinaida Vinnitskaya, a 76-year-old female.

Both were found deceased in the living room area of their apartment with apparent signs of decomposition.

The cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Investigations are ongoing.
