Suspect arrested for stabbing at York var

YORK, PA – On Monday, a stabbing victim sought treatment at York Hospital Emergency Department. The incident reportedly took place in the parking lot adjacent to the White Rose Bar and Grill at 48 N. Beaver St. at about 2:27 a.m.

With the assistance of White Rose Bar and Grill staff and surveillance footage, police were able to identify the suspect and his vehicle. By 3:00 a.m., the police located the suspect, Boyzle Maddox III from York, in the 500 block of Smith St. and took him into custody.

Maddox has been charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide. The victim received treatment for his wounds at York Hospital and is expected to survive.
