Two Juveniles Charged with Motor Vehicle Theft in Salisbury

WICOMICO COUNTY, MD – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a series of vehicle thefts that occurred between December 28 and 29, 2022, on the 1100 block of Jersey Road. The stolen vehicles, including a school bus and two transportation vans belonging to Wicomico County Public Schools, were later located. Damage and losses from the thefts are estimated at $29,253.16.

Two suspects, a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, have been identified and charges have been submitted to juvenile services. These charges include three counts of motor vehicle theft, two counts of fourth-degree burglary, and three counts of malicious destruction of property over $1,000. A third suspect remains unidentified.
