NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in a failed burglary attempt within the confines of the 105 Precinct. The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at approximately 10:20 am.
The suspect allegedly tried to gain access to a residence near 257 Street and 82nd Avenue via a rear bathroom window. However, according to the report, the individual did not manage to take any items from the property.
Following the unsuccessful burglary attempt, the individual was seen fleeing northbound on 257 Street. No injuries were reported in connection to the incident.
Given the severity of the situation, the NYPD has shared media materials to aid in the identification of the suspect. The public is encouraged to share any information that might help apprehend the individual.
