15-Year-Old Charged in D.C. Carjacking

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in yesterday’s carjacking that took place in Northeast, D.C.

Just after 2:30 am, a victim was approached by suspects at the 900 Block of 49th Place. The victim was sitting in a vehicle. The suspects displayed handguns and ordered the victim to leave the car. The victim got out of the car, and the suspects took off in the victim’s vehicle.

Yesterday, one of the suspects, a 15-year-old juvenile male from D.C., was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking. This case remains under investigation.
