NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating a shooting outside a bar in the Bronx Friday night.
At approximately 11 pm, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 1538 University Avenue, within the confines of the 46 Precinct.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the right arm and torso. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
