NYPD investigating early morning murder in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – Police in Brooklyn are investigating after a man was found shot in the head in East Flatbush this morning.

On Saturday, police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot at 4501 Glenwood Road, located in the borough of Brooklyn.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a 29-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS was called and transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Currently, there have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the deceased is pending notification of the family.
