D.C. Police Search For Vehicle Involved in D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police detectives are asking for help locating a vehicle involved in a shooting on Friday afternoon in Southeast D.C.

Shortly before 2 pm, police arrived at the 1800 Block of Stanton Terrace following a report of a shooting. They discovered an adult male victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.

No additional suspect descriptions are currently available. Authorities have not disclosed any details pertaining to a potential motive or the events preceding the shooting as the investigation unfolds.
