Adamstown Man Reported Missing

GAITHERSBURG, MD- The Montgomery County Department of Police, specifically the 3rd District Investigative Section, is seeking the public’s help in locating Charles Shepard, a 74-year-old man reported missing from Adamstown.

Shepard was last seen on Thursday, June 8, at around 3 p.m. near Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. Since his disappearance, concerns for his well-being have grown, prompting law enforcement and his family to appeal to the public for any information that may lead to his whereabouts.

Described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds, Shepard is bald with gray facial hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt, blue jeans, and red and gray athletic shoes.

Both the police and Shepard’s family are deeply worried about his welfare and are urging anyone with information about his location to contact the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000. The non-emergency line is available 24 hours daily, ensuring that any details or sightings can be promptly reported.
