Firearms and Narcotics Seized in Jersey City

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – As a result of an extensive investigation, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force arrested David Pineiro, 29, of Jersey City last Wednesday, June 7.

Investigators executed a court-authorized search of Pineiro’s Audubon Avenue residence and recovered over 20 ounces of cocaine, approximately 14 ounces of heroin, over a pound of marijuana, and more than $25,000, suspected to be proceeds from narcotics transactions.

As the investigation continued, a court-authorized search of Pinerio’s vehicle on Monday, resulted in the discovery of four firearms, a high capacity magazine, and a firearm silencer.
