25-year-old shot and killed in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – A 25-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in the Bronx.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident at approximately 11:31 PM in front of 994 East 180th Street, located in the Bronx.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a 25-year-old male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the torso. Emergency Medical Services transported the injured victim) to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and an ongoing investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The deceased has been identified as Isiah Johnson, a 25-year-old male residing at 5 West Farms Square Plaza in the Bronx.
