Clifton police seeking shooter

Clifton, NJ -Early Friday morning, around 2 A.M., a Clifton resident walking home on Lexington Avenue witnessed a concerning event near the intersection of Lake Avenue. It appeared to be an altercation of some kind. As the resident approached, the individuals involved became aware of his presence and one of them fired a shot in his direction.

Fortunately, the victim managed to escape unharmed and sought safety. The crime scene yielded spent shell casings, prompting the initiation of an investigation by Clifton detectives.

As of now, no description of the suspect is available.

Individuals who may have witnessed the event or have relevant details are urged to contact the Clifton Police Detective Bureau at 973-470-5908. The authorities are actively working on the case to help police with further details to find the suspect.
