Teenager Killed in Temple Hills Shooting

TEMPLE HILLS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that took place last Thursday evening in Temple Hills. The deceased has been identified as Tyzaiah Gaither, a 19-year-old from Washington, DC.

At approximately 5:50 pm, officers responded to the 3200 block of Naylor Road where they found Gaither outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify those involved.
