Fatal Shooting Leaves Teen Dead In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 15-year-old boy died yesterday after a shooting Tuesday night in Southeast, D.C. Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are investigating the shooting.

At around 10:30 pm, police arrived at the 2600 block of Stanton Road following reports of a shooting. The officers located a young male victim who had been shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save his life, the victim succumbed to the injuries sustained during the incident.

15-year-old Jaylin Osborne was identified as the victim.
