Traffic Stop in Severn Leads to Drug and Weapons Arrest

SEVERN, MD – A routine traffic stop by officers on Wednesday led to the discovery of a loaded non-serialized semi-automatic handgun and 123 grams of suspected marijuana. Tahj Elijah Rojas, a 24-year-old Odenton resident, was arrested as a result.

Officers conducted the traffic stop at approximately 1:15 a.m., in the area of Jacobs Meadow Drive and Jacobs Road in Severn.

A probable cause search of the vehicle led to Rojas’ arrest.
