State Trooper Rescues Child from Lake Ontario Ravine

YOUNGSTOWN, NY – On Saturday, New York State Trooper Adam Moen, SP Niagara, was dispatched to Four Mile Creek State Park following a report of an 8-year-old child stranded on a 20-foot steep ravine by Lake Ontario.

Trooper Moen located the young boy on the shoreline below the ravine. With the help of a nearby rope, he managed to reach the child, calming him down before assisting him up the ravine to safety. The child was returned to his parents, uninjured, following the incident.
