Schenectady Police Make Multiple Fireworks Violations Arrests over Holiday Weekend

SCHENECTADY, NY – Over the 4th of July holiday weekend, the Schenectady Police Department carried out multiple arrests across the city related to loud music and illegal fireworks. The arrests related to fireworks violations occurred on Foster Avenue and Duane Avenue.

The department also issued warrants against residents who left garbage and debris unattended on streets and sidewalks. Schenectady Police is urging local residents to respect their community and neighbors, emphasizing the illegality of fireworks and intolerability of disruptive parties.
