15-year-old girl robbed by man on NYC bus

NEW YORK, NY – A 15-year-old girl was robbed while riding a NYC MTA bus in the Bronx.

On Friday, at around 2 pm, a 15-year-old female victim was robbed of her iPhone 13 Pro Max while riding an MTA BX7 bus at 217 West 231 Street. According to police reports, an unknown individual boarded the bus and sat down next to the victim.

When the bus stopped at 265 West 231 Street, the individual snatched the victim’s iPhone out of her hand and exited the bus through the rear door.

The suspect is described as male with a medium complexion, a bald head and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes. Police have released an image of the suspect obtained from the MTA bus.
