NYC Police Sargeant Arrested for DUI

NEW YORK, NY – An off-duty New York City Police Sergeant was arrested and charged last night in the city.

At approximately 7:31 PM on Wednesday, Ray Thorney, a 50-year-old male employed as a Sergeant in the NYPD, was taken into custody within the confines of the 32nd Precinct.

Thorney faces charges of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, driving while ability impaired by alcohol, and refusal to take a breath test.
