Early Morning Shooting Involving Bayonne Police Officer Under Investigation

BAYONNE, NJ – A man allegedly shot by a Bayonne police officer sought emergency medical attention this Thursday. As per radio reports, the wounded man made his way from Bayonne to the intersection of Linden Avenue and Scott Street in Greenville around 7 a.m.

The victim, reportedly shot in the face, was conscious, alert and breathing upon arrival at the Jersey City Medical Center.

According to Hudson County View, a Burger King at the intersection of West 53rd Street and Broadway was closed off due to police activity. Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, having been summoned to the scene, has yet to make a public comment.
