Teenager Killed in Uniontown Shooting

UNIONTOWN, PA – On Saturday, Uniontown and state police were dispatched to a shooting scene on Wilson Avenue around 3 pm. The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting is currently under investigation as a potential homicide, however, it has not been ruled out as an accidental event.

A 14-year-old girl has been identified as a person of interest in this case. She is currently undergoing questioning by the Uniontown police. Further information about her involvement or potential charges have not been disclosed.

The shooting reportedly took place inside a residence on Wilson Avenue. No adults were present in the house when the incident occurred. Another unidentified juvenile was reported to have been in the house at the time of the shooting but left before police arrived.

While the investigation is still ongoing, Uniontown and state police have not released any additional information about this incident.
