Teen Charged in Six Armed Robberies This Week In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – An 18-year-old was arrested on Friday and charged with multiple armed robberies in Northwest D.C. that took place in a six-hour time frame Thursday night into Friday morning.

The armed robberies all consisted of a victim being approached by the suspect, the suspect displaying a handgun and taking property from the victim.

The first armed robbery happened at 10:37 pm Thursday night at the 1000 Block of F Street. The last armed robbery took place at 4:00 am in the 2400 block of 18th Street.

18-year-old Rasheme Holmes of D.C. was arrested on Friday and charged with armed robbery offenses, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, and Receiving Stolen Property.

18-year-old Trinity Nash and 18-year-old Javon Avents, both of D.C. were also arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Receiving Stolen Property.
