D.C. Armed Carjackers Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s detectives are appealing to the public for assistance in locating both suspects and a vehicle involved in an Armed Carjacking incident that took place yesterday afternoon in Northwest D.C.

Just before 4 pm, two suspects got out of a vehicle and approached the victim, who was inside their own vehicle, at the 900 block of Euclid Street. One of the suspects showed a handgun and instructed the victim to leave the vehicle. The suspect took the victim’s belongings, and then one of the suspects escaped in the victim’s vehicle while the other suspect fled in their own vehicle.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspects and the vehicle. The vehicle is described as a “red Toyota RAV4 last seen displaying Maryland tags of 3CW1956.”
