Suspect Arrested for Gun and Drug Possession in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY – On Monday, July 10, at around 9:00 p.m., Officers Mulroy and Bush noticed a man acting suspiciously on South Salina Street.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Sharrieff Bradley, tried to conceal his belongings before entering a vehicle that sped off.

During their search, Officers found Bradley walking east on Martin Luther King Boulevard, heading towards South Salina Street. Upon seeing the Officers, Bradley fled, discarding a bag containing a loaded 9mm Taurus Millennium G2 handgun, several small bags of synthetic cannabinoids, and Oxycodone pills.

Bradley was arrested on Tuesday, July 11, and booked into the Onondaga County Justice Center.

Charges against Bradley include Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second and Third Degrees, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.
