13-Year-Old Attacked and Robbed of Scooter

NEW YORK, NY – A 13-year-old boy was attacked and robbed outside a Gramercy park in Manhattan on Saturday.

According to police, officers received a report regarding an assault and robbery that took place at approximately 4:30 PM, near 344 2 Avenue, near Peters Field park.

According to the report, an unidentified male approached a 13-year-old victim and physically attacked him, striking the victim in the face and causing him to fall to the ground.

The assailant then forcibly took the victim’s property and fled in the direction of northbound 2nd Avenue, with the victim’s scooter.

EMS responded to the scene and provided treatment for the victim’s minor injuries.
