Philadelphia Weather Report: Rain, Storms Likely Through Tonight

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Today, in Philadelphia, there is a high likelihood of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2 pm. Some of these storms may bring gusty winds and heavy rainfall. The sky will be mostly cloudy, and the temperature will reach a high near 86 degrees. A south wind of around 5 mph will become southwest in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 60%, and new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.

Tonight, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 pm. Similar to today, some of these storms may produce gusty winds and heavy rain. The sky will be partly cloudy, and the temperature will drop to around 67 degrees. A northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph is expected. The chance of precipitation is 30%, and new precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible, except for higher amounts in thunderstorms.

On Saturday, the weather will be mostly sunny, with a high near 84 degrees. A northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph is expected, providing a pleasant breeze for the day.
