ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Cecilio Navarro, also known as Cecilio Navarro Rodriguez, a 35-year-old resident of Middletown, has been sentenced to twenty-two years to life imprisonment.
The Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler announced the sentence on Tuesday, following Navarro’s conviction on charges of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, Rape in the Second Degree, and Rape in the Third Degree.
The trial evidence showed that Navarro had engaged in repeated sexual conduct with a child less than thirteen years old between December 1, 2016, and October 27, 2018.
Additionally, evidence showed that in 2019 and 2021, Navarro had sexual intercourse with children under fifteen and seventeen years old, respectively.
Navarro was apprehended by the Orange County Child Investigation Unit and has been incarcerated since June 14, 2022.
