NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking the public for aid in identifying individuals related to an assault that transpired in the city.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 1, at approximately 11:12 pm. In front of 274 East 194 Street, two unidentified people on a scooter approached a 20-year-old male. One of them brandished a firearm and shot at the victim, hitting him twice in the torso.
The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital and is in stable condition. After the attack, the suspects fled westbound on 194 Street on their scooter.
In connection with this case, the Police Department is actively seeking public assistance to identify the suspects.
