Unidentified Woman in Her Twenties Found Dead in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A young woman in her 20s, identified only as Jane Doe, was found dead at the scene on 5XX E Louden St this afternoon. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Office of Public Affairs reports that the incident occurred at 5:57 p.m.

The victim was sitting in a tan Honda Civic when occupants of a white-colored SUV shot her twice in the chest and once in the face.

Paramedics on the scene pronounced her dead at 6:05 p.m. No arrests have been made as yet, and no weapons have been recovered from the scene.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Office of Public Affairs has assumed the investigation of the homicide. It is an active case and further updates will be released as they are available.

Public Affairs Officer Tanya Little requests anyone with pertinent information to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Office of Public Affairs as the investigation continues.
