Investigation Launched into Southeast D.C. Shooting

The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened at the 2200 block of Q Street in Southeast D.C. early this morning.

Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 3 am and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. No further information has yet been released.

Police have issued a lookout for a black Chevy Cruze with a broken rear window.

If you have any information about the shooting, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. This case remains under investigation.
