Uber Driver Brutally Beaten and Robbed in Queens

NEW YORK, NY – An Uber driver in Queens was brutally beaten and robbed in June, and police are still seeking his attackers.

The New York City Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved in a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 105 Precinct. The incident took place on Friday, June 16, 2023, at approximately 2:30 AM, near 137-03 168 Street.

According to the report, four unidentified individuals entered an Uber vehicle in the specified vicinity. During the ride, the suspects assaulted the 51-year-old male victim, who was the Uber operator.

The assault involved physical punches, and the suspects also stole property from the victim before fleeing the scene. They were last seen heading southbound on 233 Street.

The victim was treated by EMS at the location.

The NYPD has released media depicting the individuals they believe to be involved in the incident and is seeking the public’s help in identifying their whereabouts.
