Cumberland Man Faces Assault and Burglary Charges

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Saturday, the Cumberland City Police apprehended 24-year-old Kaden Jean Crabtree following an alleged assault and burglary.

The confrontation took place at a residence on the 900 block of Gay St.

Crabtree reportedly forced entry into the home and assaulted a male resident after an earlier altercation at a nearby business.

Following his arrest, Crabtree was brought before the District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance. He is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $1500 bond.

Charges against Crabtree include second-degree assault, third-degree burglary, and trespassing.
