Armed Rapist On the Loose In Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect wanted for raping a woman at knifepoint early Wednesday morning in Southeast, D.C.

The incident occurred at roughly 4:30 am in the hallway of a residential building located within the 1100 block of 2nd Street. The suspect, armed with a knife, confronted the victim and proceeded to engage in an unwelcome forced sexual act. Following the incident, the suspect quickly fled from the scene.

The suspect is identified as a male of Black ethnicity, spanning an age range of 20 to 60 years, and boasting a height of roughly 5’7”. His most recent outfit comprised an orange t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and a ski mask in black.
