Newtown Man Charged for Armed Robbery at Wawa

WARRINGTON, PA – In a joint effort, the Warrington and Hatboro Police Departments apprehended 19-year-old Christiano D’Antuono of Newtown Township, PA.

D’Antuono faces charges of Robbery, Attempted Burglary, and several other felonies.

These charges result from two incidents on June 30. At 4:18 a.m., an individual attempted a break-in at 9 South York Road, Hatboro, PA, and at 4:41 a.m., the same person allegedly conducted an armed robbery at the Warrington Wawa.

The combined effort of investigators from both jurisdictions identified D’Antuono as the primary suspect.

 He has been placed in Bucks County Prison with bail set at $100,000.00. The investigation remains open, and anyone with additional details is asked to contact Detective Bernard Schaffer.
