OCEAN CITY, MD – Visitors to Ocean City over the next two days can expect a mix of sun and storms, with opportunities for both beach fun and indoor activities.

Monday in Ocean City will start off partly sunny, with a high near 80°F, offering beachgoers a pleasant day by the water. An east wind of 5 to 8 mph will become southeast in the afternoon, providing gentle breezes for those on the shore.

As the day transitions into night, the weather will take a turn, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 8 p.m. The night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 75°F and a southwest wind of 9 to 11 mph. The chance of precipitation is 50%, with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch possible, so those planning outdoor evening activities should be prepared for sudden changes.

Tuesday’s forecast shows showers and thunderstorms becoming more likely, mainly after 5 p.m. Despite this, the day will be partly sunny with a high near 85°F and a brisk southwest wind of 11 to 14 mph. The chance of precipitation increases to 60%, with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch possible, so beachgoers might want to have an umbrella at hand.

The showers and thunderstorms continue into Tuesday night, likely before 8 p.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 69°F. The south wind will be around 11 mph, becoming west after midnight, and the chance of precipitation remains at 60%, with similar rainfall amounts expected.
