Holmdel Police Arrest Bronx Man During Neighborhood Patrol

HOLMDEL, NJ – On Tuesday, at around 3 am, Patrolman DePinho of the Holmdel Police Department was conducting a Neighborhood Patrol on Chestnut Ridge Road in the Old Manor development.

During the patrol, a vehicle was observed committing a motor vehicle violation on Heyward Hills Drive.

The driver, identified as Adama Tarawalley, 22, from Bronx, NY, was unable to provide proper identification and was found to be providing false information.

Tarawalley had an active warrant from Fort Lee. Three other individuals, Abdullaie Cham, Moustafa Diaby, and Mahamadou Fofana, all from Bronx, NY, were present in the vehicle but were released at the scene.

Tarawalley was arrested and taken to the Holmdel Police Department. He was charged with Hindering Apprehension and motor vehicle violations. Fort Lee released him on his own recognizance for the outstanding warrant. The Holmdel Police Department encourages residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
