55-Year-Old Man Shot in Face with Gel Blaster

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks information about an assault incident.

The event occurred on Tuesday, August 8, at approximately 8:50 am near 1105 Morrison Avenue.

An unidentified individual brandished a gel bead blaster, firing it at a 55-year-old man, striking him in the face.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Emergency services transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
