Wilmington Wawa Robbed at Gunpoint

WILMINGTON, DE – Delaware State Police are examining an armed robbery that transpired at a Wawa in Wilmington on Tuesday.

At about 3:15 a.m. on that day, troopers were dispatched to the Wawa at 400 Wilson Road following reports of an armed robbery.

Two male suspects, brandishing firearms, demanded money from the store’s safe and cash registers.

After receiving an undisclosed amount, the duo fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

Descriptions indicate both suspects as young black males in dark attire. Surveillance footage and images are pending. Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit encourages anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
