Mother and Daughter Shot in Millville Home Invasion

MILLVILLE, PA – An incident occurred early Sunday morning in Millville. At around 4:45 a.m., police were alerted to gunshots in the 500 block of North 6th Street.

Police Chief Ross Hoffman confirmed the dispatch.

Upon arrival, officers found a 14-year-old girl wounded in the chest and a 36-year-old woman with an injury to her leg.

The young girl was rushed to a nearby hospital where she remains in stable condition. The older victim received treatment and has since been discharged.

Preliminary information suggests that both victims were asleep when an unknown assailant(s) opened fire on their home.
