Man Injured in Monday Shooting near Putnam Beer Dock in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, OH – A man was found injured from a gunshot near Putnam Beer Dock at 819 Putnam Avenue on Monday afternoon, according to the Zanesville Police Department.

The injured man was transported to Genesis Hospital, where his injuries are said not to be life-threatening.

Detective Sgt. Phil Michel informed that during their investigation, the shooting was found to have occurred in the 700 block of Woodlawn Avenue. As of now, no information about the suspect has been released.

Additional agencies, including the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, Community Ambulance, and the Zanesville Fire Department, assisted at the scene of the incident.
