Porch Pirates Make Off with Nike Air Force Ones

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is calling for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a package theft that occurred on Friday, August 4.

The incident took place in the 300 block of South 9th Street, where a resident’s package was stolen after delivery. The stolen items included two pairs of Nike Air Force One sneakers, valued at $130.00 each.

Detectives have obtained video footage showing a female and male suspect taking the package and are urging the public to help in identifying them swiftly.

Director Fragé encourages anyone with information about the identity of these suspects to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
