Rochester Man Hospitalized After Early Morning Shooting

ROCHESTER, NY – A 33-year-old man is in the hospital after being shot early Wednesday morning.

According to the Rochester Police Department, officers found the man at approximately 2:20 a.m. in the area of Lexington Avenue and Dewey Avenue.

He had sustained at least one gunshot wound to his lower body.

The injured man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. His injuries are confirmed to be non-life-threatening. Currently, no suspects are in custody related to the shooting.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident. Individuals with information are asked to call 911.
