Two Men Arrested in Buffalo for Looting During Power Outage

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Police Department announced that two arrests were made last Friday after property was stolen from local businesses during a power outage.

At approximately 5:00 a.m., Broadway-Fillmore district officers responded to a report of suspicious persons on Broadway.

Upon arrival, officers apprehended Federico Cortes, 56, and Xavier Primm, 60, both of Buffalo.

They were charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree.

The Family Dollar on the 1700 block of Broadway and Tim Horton’s on the 1100 block of Bailey Avenue were identified as the stores that had been broken into.
