FELTON, DE – On Tuesday morning, Delaware State Police were alerted to an attempted robbery at the Valero Shore Stop on 8953 S. Dupont Highway.
An unknown white male suspect entered the store with a shirt wrapped around his head, brandishing a knife and demanding cash from the store clerk.
When the clerk did not comply, the suspect tried to take the cash register but failed. He fled southbound away from the business. The victim was not harmed, and nothing was stolen.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’00” to 6’02” tall, weighing around 210-250 pounds. The Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively investigating the case.
